Village facilities include, a bakery,
mini supermarket and a pharmacy, and there is a vast range of sports
and activities within the locality: gliding, para-gliding, micro-light/light
aircraft flying, rafting, canoeing, horse-riding, clay pigeon shooting,
swimming, tennis, cross-country-skiing in winter, a wolf park,
a bison reserve and,
of course, trout fishing.

For the gourmet, there are many restaurants where the delicacies
and specialities of the area can be sampled - cheeses, mushrooms,
charcuterie, fresh vegetables and fruit, not to mention the
plentiful, cheap wines of the area.
